Deb's Chinese Cabbage Salad

(from Deb Meason's personal recipe file)

 

2 Chicken Breasts, cooked and cubed

1/2 head Cabbage, chopped

4 Green Onions, chopped

1/2 cup Slivered Almonds

1 package Chicken Top Ramen Noodles

2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds

 

Dressing:

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Pepper

2 Tablespoons Sugar

3 Tablespoons Vinegar

1/2 cup Oil

1 Top Ramen Seasoning Packet

 

Lightly brown almonds and sesame seeds in 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes (watch carefully, they will burn!)

 

Cool and mix in crush Top Ramen Noodles.  Set aside.

 

In a large bowl, mix the Chicken, Cabbage and Green Onions.

 

In a separate bowl, mix the dressing.

 

Before serving, mix the Cabbage mixture and the dressing.  Add the Almond/Noodle/Sesame Seed Mixture.  Toss again.
